| Day 3 |
Kunming - Dali (AB, L, D) |
After breakfast, we travel to Dali by bus. Upon arrival at Dali, we are served the local specialty cuisine - Casserole Fish for lunch. Our afternoon sightseeing features a boat ride on Erhai Lake and a visit to Bai Minority Village, where we get firsthand experience of local daily life, chancing a taste of "Three Courses Tea" and the entertainment of Bai Minority Folklore Dance. Later we head to the Old Town Dali, stroll along the famous street "Yangrenjie".

Dali - Lijiang (AB, L, D) |
After breakfast, drive to Lijiang, the cultural center of the Naxi Minority. Lijiang has beautiful landscapes and has been designated by the UN as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Gaze in wonder at the sights and sounds of this ancient city as you walk down the cobblestone streets preserved for nearly 800 years. We see that the Naxi way of life has changed very little over time. Our sightseeing tour features visits to the Black Dragon Pond, Old Town Lijiang, and a leisurely stroll around the pristine surroundings.

After breakfast, the highlight of the day must be Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the mythical mountain worshipped by the Naxi people. The bus drops us off at the based where we start an excursion to access higher regions that afford a beautiful view . On the mountain, a stop for us to enjoy the fantastic outdoor production called "Impression Lijiang" will be reserved. Our rest stop on the way down the mountan is Yushui Village. Enjoy the famous local cuisine "Wang's Family Banquet" for dinner.

After breakfast, take the morning flight to back to Kunming. Immediately we begin our city tour with visits to Xishan Forest Park, Longmen, and Daguanlou.

Kunming - Jiuxiang - Stone Forest - Kunming (AB, L, D) |
After breakfast, we take a morning excursion to the remarkable Jiuxiang, and visit the Stone Forest in the afternoon. Known primarily for its limestone caves, Jiuxiang also boasts an underground waterfall and an awesome gorge. In the evening we are in for a special treat of Yunnan specilties followed by an exciting Minority Cultural Show.
