Arrive at Xiamen Airport, you are met by your local guide and escorted to a restaurant for lunch. Then visit South Putuo Temple. South Putuo Temple is an ancient temple with great fame in Xiamen. It has the name of Southern Putuo for the reason of its main conformity to Guanyin and Bodhisattva as well as its location to the south of Putuo Mountain, one of the four great Buddhist fields in Zhoushan of Zhejiang province.

Xiamen - Zhang Zhou - Xiamen Wuyishan (AB, L, D) |
In the morning, drive to Zhang Zhou and visit the Hakka Roundhouses (Tolou). Hakka's Roundhouses spread all over the city. The original roundhouse is lives as barracks, castle or mountain fastness constructed with clay mixed with many other materials into different shapes. There are entirely more than eight hundred roundhouses in total. Fujian Roundhouses was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 2008. Return to Xiamen in the afternoon. Board your flight to Wuyishan after dinner.

Today's trip starts with the visit to Tianyou Mountain. Tianyou Mountain is also called the First Wonderland of Wuyishan. It is so high that its top is very often hidden in the clouds and mists. Climbing up the mountain makes you feel like being in the heaven palace. After lunch will come today's highlight: drifting down the Nine Turns Stream by bamboo raft! The winding stream spread through the green cliffs, so you can enjoy the elegant scenes on the bamboo raft. The mountains and rocks all have different shapes and interesting names accordingly.

Wuyishan - Fuzhou (AB, L) |
In the morning you will visit the Water Screen Cave. It's formed by curved cliff walls and an over-hanging cliff, each measuring several hundred feet in height or in width. It's spacious and can seat some thousand people. Built along the walls are a few roofless temples. Two springs keep cascading down day and night from the over-hanging cliff. Blown by the breeze, the waterfalls break into tiny drops, which resemble two water screens hanging from the top, and descend into the Dragon Bath Pond below. Then you will be arranged to visit the ancient "Da Hong Pao" plants. After lunch, board the train to Fuzhou.

Fuzhou - Quanzhou (AB, L, D) |
After your breakfast, start your tour to West Lake Park, situated in the northwest of Fuzhou, is famed for its similarity to West Lake in Hangzhou. West Lake Park is the most completed ancient garden in Fuzhou City and is called a pearl of gardens in Fujian Province. Then visit Gushan area. Gushan is one of the most famous sights in Fuzhou. Gushan, or Drum Hill, got its name from a drum shaped rock at the top of the hill that reverberates loudly whenever the rain drops fell. After lunch, drive to Quanzhou, which is one of the 24 first announced historical and cultural cities in China and was also the starting point of the famous "Maritime Silk Route". Visit Kaiyuan Temple, which is situated on the west street of the city. The East Tower and the West Tower which stand in the temple are regarded as special symbol of the old Quanzhou town. Then go to Quanzhou Museum and have a good understanding of history and couture of the ancient city.

Quanzhou - Xiamen (AB, L, D) |
After breakfast, visit the Quanzhou Museum of Overseas Communication. The museum s China's only museum dedicated to the history of Chinese overseas exploration. The old exhibition hall, designed like a huge ship, was set up in 1959. It exhibits the components of a Song Dynasty (960-1127) ship discovered in the seaport of Quanzhou. The new East Lake exhibition hall was opened in 1991 and focuses on the history of overseas exploration, religious stone sculptures, and the folk culture of the seaside. The museum shows people the importance of Quanzhou in the development of China's overseas exploration. Then you will visit the Laozi Rock, which is the most famous Taoist site in Fujian. After lunch, we will drive to Xiamen and visit Jimei School Village and Chen Jia-geng's Former Residence. The stately residence where he once lived and the garden called "Ao Yuan" have been preserved as memorial objects. The structure is made of greenish rocks and granite mined in Xiamen, and the extended connecting corridor in the garden is decorated with the relics of historical folktales. This monument, which praises the achievement of Chen Jia-geng is inscribed with the epitaph written by Mao Tse-tung himself.

Xiamen - Gulangyu Island - Xiamen Hong Kong (AB, L) |
| In the morning take the ferry to Gulangyu Island. Gulangyu Island is a very small island. It covers an area of 1.91 square kilometers and has a population about 20000. You can find lots of western houses built in mid-19th century after the first Opium War, hence a nickname "Museum of World Architecture". The island has another nickname, Island of Piano, or Music Island. Take the ferry back to Xiamen for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the Round Island Road and Zhongshan Road. Board your afternoon flight to Hong Kong. |
